RITUAL

Ritual was born out of the closing of Escondido in 2023.

Escondido was a 10 seat tasting room hidden inside of Centro, a Mexican restaurant in Minneapolis. In 2023, Food and Wine listed as one of top places to drink tequila in US. Ritual is the mobile version and is currently available for hire to do a private tasting experience. Contact us for pricing and availability.

Guided Tastings:

  • Most tastings last about 90-120 minutes on average. We bring everything, set up, present and tear down

  • All tastings include 5 samples (22ml or .75oz) pours from my private collection of agave spirits I have collected over the years of travel to Mexico

  • A welcome cocktail

  • Educational booklet

  • Price for a tasting event is $50 per person with a minimum of $200

    • Example: a tasting for 2 people is a $200 or a tasting for 10 people is $500

  • We will walk through the process of mezcal from farm to glass while sipping on heritage agave spirits direct from the producers.

 

LOBO SOLITARIO

I earned this nickname by my friend Danny, the kitchen manager at Centro. I was running a hidden tasting room in the back of Centro at the time so I guess it seemed appropriate. As I started collecting mezcal from my trips to Mexico, I began using these releases for my private tastings.

BRANDS

From 2020-2024 I worked on bringing new agave spirits brands to Minnesota. I was managing the agave program at a local restaurant and running a 10 seat tasting room that focused on private tasting experiences. I was able to broker and distribute brands like Tapatio, Cinco Sentidos, Lamata, Lopez Real, Cuish, Cumbrita de la Sierra, de Matachines, Mezcal Tosba, Las Melodias de la Luna, and Mezcal Tres Tiempos.
